The Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Awards 2012

The Rona Jaffe Foundation has announced winners of this year's Writers' Awards, which recognize six emerging women writers and awards each of them $30,000. The 2012 honorees are Julia Elliott (fiction), Christina Nichol (fiction), Lauren Goodwin Slaughter (poetry), Rachel Swearingen (fiction), Kim Tingley (nonfiction) and Inara Verzemnieks (nonfiction). They will be honored at a private ceremony on September 20 in New York City
