Alastair Reynolds to write new Doctor Who novel
British Science Fiction award-winner Alastair Reynolds is the latest author to try his hand writing a Doctor Who novel, after signing a deal with BBC Books. Editorial director Albert DePetrillo bought world rights from Robert Kirby at United Agents for an undisclosed sum. Harvest of Time will be published as a £16.99 hardback in 2013. It features the third Doctor, who was played by Jon Pertwee in the BBC series.
